Billennium, a Polish company that delivers IT services and solutions for businesses, on August 1st,<\/sup> opened its first delivery centre and HQ office in Mississauga, Ontario. After Germany, India and Malaysia, this is the company\u2019s fourth international expansion, and the company is seeking to hire 150-200 specialists to scale its Toronto Region operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

TORONTO, ON \u2013 September 27, 2021: The establishment of Billennium\u2019s first headquarters in North America and the decision to bring this expansion to Canada marks a significant milestone in the company\u2019s growth. With the goal of strengthening business relationships<\/a> and developing stronger support for the company\u2019s current customer base, Billennium\u2019s Canadian presence provides the framework for its IT specialists to respond to their customers\u2019 needs quickly and efficiently. <\/p>\n

Thus far, projects for this geographical region have been implemented remotely by over 100 specialists located in Poland and India. Now, the team will include over 15 new experts, primarily in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and computerized systems validation. These experts will work in the newly established headquarters in Mississauga, a burgeoning city in the Toronto Region<\/a> in Ontario. Entering this market is part of the company’s international development strategy, which has already seen the successful launch of offices in Germany, India, Malaysia and seven cities in Poland.<\/p>\n

Throughout the process, Billennium worked closely with Toronto Global, a team of experienced advisors assisting international businesses to expand into the Toronto Region, and the City of Mississauga\u2019s Economic Development Office. Toronto Global also collaborated with the Polish Investment & Trade Agency in Toronto, a public consultancy supporting international development of Polish businesses, to provide Billennium with the tools and resources to assist in a seamless expansion process.<\/p>\n

The company expects its delivery centre in Mississauga to continue on the same growth trajectory as its India and Malaysia branches, which currently employ nearly 200 specialists. In addition to serving existing customers, the company also plans to acquire new projects in North America and to expand its area of operation to the west coast of Canada.<\/p>\n
