Christine Helsdon Tekker

Christine Tekker is a capital markets and risk management leader with a global career path including roles based in both Canada and the UK. Currently, as Senior Vice President of Lending at Infrastructure Ontario, Christine leads a team that finances a range of infrastructure projects that build communities across Ontario.  Prior to this, Christine worked in fixed income investments, loan origination, syndication and risk management as an institutional investor, and also for domestic and international banks.

With expertise in debt financing and credit risk, Christine has also been on the faculty at York University’s Schulich School of Business since 2013.  She designed and teaches an MBA course called: Debt Capital Markets: Corporate and Project Finance.

Her board experience includes working with the global trade association, International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers, and the Toronto-based housing and service provider to Toronto’s most vulnerable, the YWCA Toronto, where she was the Vice-Chair of the Board.  She is a past winner of the Women in Capital Markets, “Champion of Change” award and holds an MBA, LLM and ICD.D.
