BHC Chicken Chooses Toronto for North American Flagship Store

Toronto, ON – October 16Dining Brands Group (formerly BHC Group), a leading Korean Food and Beverage company renowned for its diverse portfolio of brands, is thrilled to announce the opening of its North American flagship store for its celebrated fried chicken brand, BHC Chicken at The Well, located at 486 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5V 0V2. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in Dining Brands Group’s commitment to bringing authentic Korean flavours to Canadian consumers.

Dining Brands Group’s impressive business model has garnered substantial interest and investment, including a remarkable $275 million (USD) investment from the Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan in December 2020. This partnership underscores the company’s strong market potential and innovative approach within the food and beverage sector. Following the investment announcement, Toronto Global proactively reached out to the company’s headquarters in Seoul to facilitate the Canadian project.

Toronto, recognized as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, has become a hub and strategic location for international brands like BHC to invest and expand their reach globally. The city’s vibrant cultural mosaic provides the perfect backdrop for BHC to introduce its beloved fried chicken, appealing to diverse tastes and preferences.

Dining Brands Group collaborated closely with Toronto Global, the region’s economic development agency, to establish connections and navigate the process of this significant expansion.
